FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2016 19 On Sept. 6 we met and covered numerous items in an agenda. A few of the ideas covered in the meeting were: UV lighting system for The Summit pool, Lodge relamping proposal, changes to the bocce and horseshoe courts, replacement of gazebos in the Springdale area, renovation of RCN fountain and upgrades to the Summit doors and windows. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Board of Directors has elected to separate the Safety and Facilities Committee into two Committees. The new Safety Committee will be a seven member Committee. To apply for the new Committee, obtain an application form and then submit the form to First Service Residential. Please submit the form as soon as possible so the Board of Directors can get on with the selection of new committee members. ~ Dennis Gray Your Four Seasons Communications Committee has been working on upgrades to the Four Seasons Beaumont website (www. fourseasonsatbeaumont.com) to make it as user-friendly for those who depend on their tablets and smartphones as for those of us using a desktop computer. A subcommittee was formed to explore style options and added features. The full committee is currently evaluating an array of potential upgrades to both our site's aesthetics and functionality. We recognize how much our residents rely upon and enjoy The Breeze. This month, we heard from some residents that their copy of The Breeze was late. Our investigation showed the magazine mailing was sent right on time, but there may be some issues with mail delivery. If you ever miss your copy of The Breeze, feel right at home and grab a copy from the library at The Lodge (limited supply; first come/first serve). Residents may also enjoy accessing The Breeze via the Four Seasons website or the Flipbook version, which is available on our publisher's portal, http://imageup.uberflip.com/h/. Just a reminder for our newest residents: it can take up to two months for you to start receiving your copy of The Breeze. The Communications Committee welcomes fresh ideas and new faces. We would love to have any under-appreciated grammar and spelling "wonks" join us. If you have any background with proofreading, composing content for publication, or website design and content management, please consider joining our next meeting. We meet at 10 am every first Wednesday of the month and we would love to meet YOU! Please check the Morning Update or contact The Lodge staff to confirm our meeting room location. If you are interested in learning more about joining the Communications Committee, you may contact Randy Balt at randy.balt@proforma. com or (951) 769-5735. ~ Martha Baumgarten Safety & Facilities Committee Communications Committee
