| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | October 2016 | 29 Karaoke & Dance Party Hi everybody, Karaoke for October will be on the second Sun., Oct. 9 at 2 pm in the karaoke lounge. We may have a couple of new members. The other night in the Bistro while enjoying a meal with friends, I happened to hear two couples talking about the various activities here at Four Seasons. My ears perked up when one of the ladies informed the other that she was thinking about joining the Karaoke Club. Her friend asked, "what is karaoke?" The lady responded by saying she thought it was a form of karate, you know she said, "like when you break blocks and boards with your hands and feet, and yelling and screaming when you strike them." Of course I had to explain that "karaoke" is not anything like "karate," or kick boxing for that matter, there is no karate chopping or kick boxing at karaoke, although, there could be yelling and screaming, I guess. Karaoke is all about music, and of course, we know that Elvis combined singing and karate on stage, so I guess it would be okay if you want to combine the two events, as long as you don't karate chop the karaoke host during your performance. And, and one more thing before I forget, I would like to welcome our newest club here at Four Seasons Hemet, dedicated to keeping an eye on dog walkers, to make sure everyone cleans up after their pets. They are, The Super Duper Pooper Scoopers. They will keep an eye peeled to make sure everyone scoops their poop. If you would like to be a member, welcome. If you choose not to join, and do not want to scoop your poop, you will be out of the loop, and have to join another group, and keep your dog in a coop, or tied up on your stoop, to avoid cameras that snoop, and lose your privileges in one fell swoop, and stay home and eat soup. I would hope everyone joins our newest club and see ya all at karaoke, or out there scooping poop. ~Bill Thank you so much for your support on Sept. 24. Our sold out attendance for Murder at Rundown Abby was amazing. The Four Seasons Players hopes you enjoyed the evening. We will have pictures for you in the November Herald. This concludes our 2016 season. Our next production will be in February 2017. I just can't believe its been 10 years since the beginning of our players group. We have enjoyed every year and hopefully we can continue to entertain you in the coming years. We are all 10 years older too. I don't know how long we can continue to run around on the stage like we do, but be assured we will figure something out as time goes by. We may not move as fast, but we will do our best to keep the laughter coming. So from all our players, to you our valued supporters, we wish you happy holidays and a great rest of 2016. Four Seasons Players
