36 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | October 2016 | Bocce Welcome back to those who we gladly see each year and a big welcome to those who are new this year. We presented a different way of playing this year and we expect that the players will enjoy this method much better. We will not pester you to help referee anymore since the teams will be doing that during the game. We also passed out information pertaining to our BBQ and another that helps support the Bocce Club which is very important and we depend on our players to help support our Car Show Water and Soda Booth. This year the Bocce Club will buy water and so we will need donations for soda products listed in the flyer we passed out to you. Coke, Pepsi and 7 Up products will be needed and if you purchased water already that is okay also, we will take it. Remember that Bocce begins Sun., Oct. 2. Captains should have by now received information to be passed down to your other players. If you have questions please contact Ross Brunetto at (951) 926-8295. See everyone soon. We welcome back all our shuffleboard players and hope that we can still reach out to those who missed signing up. We need more teams for our 10 am league and our 11 am league. The league officially started Sept. 8 so you can come out any Thursday to sub or join the league. This year we will combine the Shuffleboard and Bocce players together for the first league potluck for this year. The theme will be favorite Mexican dishes and we will make sure we have flyers to pass out for both clubs. Meanwhile, let's enjoy the surroundings and your neighbors in the community and make the Shuffleboard club something to look forward to for 10 weeks. Sue Malarkey is the club's Co-Chair and everything else in between. Sue has laid out the schedule and tournament plan and is only waiting to see who will be the top players for this year's competition. Guess we will have to wait and see. Thanks to those who have supported the club for its 10th year as a board-approved club. We plan to have many more years and will need the support of the community.
