4 SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | OCTOBER 2016 FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER By Greg Rainier, General Manager Items approved at the Board of Directors meeting of September 15, 2016: • The reinvestment of 1 maturing CD. • Placed a Lien on the home of a delinquent owner. • The appointment of 1 Communications Advisory Committee Member: Andrea Jeric. • The appointment of 1 Finance Advisory Committee Member: Ralph Grider. • Pest Control contract for 12-months. • HVAC repairs as a reserve expenditure. • Landscape refurbishment (Tree Trimming) as a reserve expenditure. • Design Guideline Update. • Resurfacing of the tennis courts. • New wind screens for the tennis courts. The next meeting will be the Homeowners Annual Meeting on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 10 am in the Mountain View Lodge Ballroom The Notice of Annual Meeting & Election ballots and candidate information was mailed out on September 27, 2016. Please do not forget to vote as we need at least 25% of the homes to turn in their ballots so the association will meet quorum requirements to conduct the Annual Meeting and Election. The following members are running for the two (2) positions on the Board of Directors: Larry Braidic, Lorraine Brealey, Tommy Carpenter, Richard Heckler, Chris Mages, Lori Raupe and Don Trimble. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS There will be a Candidates Forum on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 2 pm in the Lodge Ballroom. Please come and meet your Board candidates! If you are interested in having your trees trimmed and would like to receive a free estimate from Artistic Maintenance, there will be a sign- up sheet in the Lodge beginning on October 1, 2016. Once Artistic sees there is sufficient interest from residents, they will contact each owner to make arrangements to provide you with a quote. Please sign up by October 14th. A tree trimming crew will be on site October 24th through 25th to perform the work. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE.
