EXCURSION SIGN-UPS: All new excursions are not released for sign-up until the FIRST DAY OF THE MONTH BEGINNING AT 8 AM. If the first falls on a Saturday or Sunday then sign-ups will begin on the following Monday. If a holiday falls on the first day of the month, sign-ups will begin the next day. WAITING LIST POLICY: The waiting list is created by the Rec. Dept. for sold out events/excursions. This list is used (in order of registration) when the attendee has to cancel due to illness, doctor's appointment, etc. The waiting list is not used for additional sign-ups for secondary excursions that are scheduled due to their popularity. Contact the Rec. Dept. if you have any questions about either of these two policies. WE ACCEPT CHECKS ONLY. You can register up to 4 people (including yourself ) per check per household, payable to Sun Lakes Country Club. All Recreation Classes, Excursions, and Special Events are open to residents only, unless otherwise specified. REFUND POLICY: 1. Cancellations made 30 days prior to the departure date of an excursion or special event will qualify for a full refund, unless otherwise specified. 2. Cancellations made after the 30 day refund deadline are not refundable. However, if an excursion or event has sold out and there is a wait list, the Recreation Department may issue a refund if the ticket can be resold from the wait list. Thank you! Once again, the entire Citrus Music Department welcomes the holidays with an ALL NEW choral concert and magical awe- inspiring original holiday musical "Christmas Is." A New England family becomes overwhelmed as they face the challenges of a busy holiday season. Santa and Mrs. Claus intervene with a special trip to the North Pole to help the family rekindle their Christmas joy. This jolly show is guaranteed to get you ready for a magical holiday season. Join the thousands who come year after year for their dose of Christmas spirit, Citrus style! After departing Sun Lakes, we will head over to the Sizzler in Redlands for a "Sizzler's famous 50+ item salad bar that includes hot appetizers, a make-it-yourself taco bar, handmade salads, make from-scratch soups and desserts. The salad bar features fresh-from-the source fruits and vegetables with a variety of dressings, many of which are made in-house daily. You may also order their tasty cheesy toast and their huge baked potato which is included, but you must order from the food server. Check-in will be in the Busroom, bus departs at 10:30 am… Please arrive no later than 10 am. Huntington Harbour Cruise of Lights Thurs., Dec. 15, 2:30 - 9:30 pm, $73 pp, buffet lunch included. Light up the holidays with an evening cruise through Huntington Harbour. The fun begins with a Motherlode Lunch Buffet at the Claim Jumper in Fountain Valley where you'll enjoy hearty portions of Prime Rib, Rotisserie Chicken, House Salad, Caesar Salad, Whipped Potatoes, Roasted Veggies, Bread Choice and a Dessert Buffet! You'll have plenty of time to relax and enjoy a bountiful buffet before heading to Huntington Harbour for the 54th Annual "Cruise of Lights." Every December, the residents spend days decking the halls for all to see as they cruise by. Hundreds of these exclusive homes, docks, decks and boats are adorned with twinkling lights, mechanical displays and Nativity Scenes. There's no prettier sight than the reflection of the light upon the calm waters of the channel. The narrated cruise lasts approximately 50 minutes and the boats offer inside and outside viewing.
