You know the one… where great grandma died in the upstairs bedroom and now you are visiting your cousin and they tell you that you can both sleep in that room. Oh no, not that room in that big old house on Water St. down by the railroad tracks. So, where is the closest Hampton Inn, you ask politely bug-eyed. Well, if Morticia and Gomez and Uncle Fester were people you remember, bring that picture and the story of the ancestors' house to our October – Haunted Houses of our past – meeting. It will be on Wednesday, (also the name of Morticia's daughter), Oct. 26 at 1 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Can't wait to see you! "We need to haunt the houses of history and listen anew to the ancestors' wisdom," ~ Maya Angelou. Info., Ann Oliver, 769-5955. Genealogical Society Bible Study Our Bible study group is non-denominational. All are welcome. We meet together every week for fellowship and study. On the first Wednesday of each month we meet for dinner before our regular meeting. Reservations for dinner are taken in the meeting the last Wednesday of each month. Bring your Bible, any version, and listen to or participate in our discussion of the evening topic. We're all learning together. We'd be delighted if you'd join us. We meet Wednesdays at 7 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room.
