22 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2016
We live in a very nice community. In many ways we're spoiled here, with nice homes, good friends, great events and activities,
resort-style buildings and grounds, convenient nearby shopping and medical services, and generally year-round nice weather.
Even so, our Lodge, Rec. Center North (old sales building), and the surrounding grounds were designed and built 10 to 12
years ago. If they were computers or phones they'd be in the recycle bin by now.
But unlike technology with its built-in obsolescence, these facilities and grounds are expected to live and be of useful service
for many decades to come. We are always in transition, from one generation and set of circumstances to the next. The elders
might be happy with things one way, but the youngers might see things quite differently. Our challenge is two-fold: to make the
present lifestyle here at Four Seasons as good and enjoyable as possible, and to always plan for the future.
We are currently doing research and collecting information on many issues. This can be time-consuming and tedious, but
we want to gather good, reliable data upon which to make the right recommendations and decisions.
Our committee is only a few months old, so we are still getting organized, bringing our objectives into focus and prioritizing
our work. We appreciate your cooperation and patience very much as we get up to speed. ~ Willis Fagan
