We also learned about vacations close to home visiting our wonderful National Parks Join us on Nov. 17 when Bambi, with AMA Waterways, will present information on river cruising and the delightful itineraries and unique destinations. Nov. 4 - We will have our standard TGIF this night with some fun music and perhaps some raffles! Nov. 18 - This is our concert night and we will feature songs from the great Phil Collins in this 2004 concert performance in Montreaux. You will enjoy some of these classic Collins/Genesis songs and more! Toes will be tappin'! This is dry camping on BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land 6 miles south of Quartzsite off of La Paz Road just west of Highway 95. Oasis RV Park (Ehrenburg, AZ): http://www.rvoasis.com/. Three nights: Arrive Jan. 30, depart Feb. 2, 2017 (after Quartzsite). Premium sites are $48 + tax per night. Standard sites are $40 + tax per night… River Sites are $58 + tax per night. There are trailers priced at $79/$109 weekday/weekend for standard and $99/$129 weekday/weekend for river sites. Both are + tax, no discounts. Each person will call the park at (928) 923-8230 and make their own reservation on or after Oct. 15. Pala Casino RV Resort (Pala, CA): https://www.palacasino.com/ resort/rv-resort/. Five nights arrive Feb. 26 depart March 3, 2017. The cost will be $255 total, which includes the use of the clubhouse. Linda Wetter will collect the fee at the October 2016 meeting.
