Karaoke & Dance Party
Hi Everybody, and welcome to the Karaoke Corner (do I sound like
Vin Scully)? I thought so. But I substituted "Welcome to the Karaoke
Corner" for his "It's time for Dodger Baseball." Since he retired, I
thought it would be okay.
Karaoke in November will be on the second Sunday, the 13th at
2 pm in the Karaoke Lounge. Normally I would send out an open
invitation for everyone to join us at karaoke and share the fun, but
since karaoke has been steadily growing, I won't be able to do that
this month. We are still inviting the regulars, and even the folks that
have only been there once or twice, but the people who have never
been to karaoke, I am so terribly sorry that there may not be enough
room for you to come in and share the fun. You know, it's like if you
invite four friends over for a pot of beans, there is plenty of beans for
four, but if each of those four bring four friends with them, you're
not going to have enough beans, so we're afraid we just can't allow
folks who haven't been, to come in and share our fun. Fun is very
important at karaoke, and if more people come, we may not have
enough fun to go around, and as the Grand Poobah and Exalted
Leader of karaoke, I pretty much have to guarantee a lot of fun for
everyone. Now, if there was a fun bank, and we could take the excess
fun from one month, and save it for the next month at the fun bank,
then it would be okay, but I don't even know where the closest fun
bank is. So if you try to come in the door at karaoke, and you haven't
been before, I'm afraid we may have to hold the doors closed from the
inside, and, if you persist, you may force us to stick our tongues out at
you, and yell, "neener" "neener" "neener." Wait a minute… my wife
says that's too mean… okay, I guess we won't stick our tongues out at
you, see you ALL at karaoke. Bill
