| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | NOVEMBER 2016 | 33 The holidays are approaching quickly. Maybe time to think of a new apron, table runner, or even place mats. There are plenty of ideas out there to stir your imagination. We meet every 1st, 3rd, and (5th) Mondays of the month at 1 pm in the Main Clubhouse Arts and Crafts Room. All Sun Lake quilters are welcome, as well as those interested in learning to quilt. Come check us out. There are no club fees. Show and share is always a treat and inspirational. Please bring any spring quilts, blocks, or any others quilt items you want to share. Bring in your sewing machines, hand sewing, or whatever UFO you would like to work on. Suggestions for projects or demos are always welcome. We have the room until 5 pm so plenty of time to set up and get some things done. Info., Sharon Blackburn 324-0146 or email blackburn.sharon@gmail. com or Lurline 769-0575. Sun Lakes Quilters The old saying "the early bird gets the worm" really played out for me in October. It was a reminder to arrive early next year if one wants a table in the Ballroom for the Fall Craft Fair. If you are looking for the Sew What? Club table this coming weekend Nov. 4 and 5 and you don't see us in the Ballroom don't lose heart, we will be setting up in the bus room to the left of the stage. So come by and check out all the great items we have waiting for you. We have quite an assortment of things to choose from — some new items have been added along with our normal faire of items to choose from. We still need yarn to keep those afghan's rolling out to our veterans and assisted living locations as our bins are empty now. We also could use a few more sewers and anyone interested in laying out and cutting patterns for many of the items that can be taken home to sew or by using the two nice sewing machines we have in the Craft room. Let me know if you have items to donate that you are unable to deliver yourself and I will be happy to pick them up. Just call me, Gail, at 797-3589 and leave a message if I don't pick up. Sew What?
