So join us! On Fri., Nov. 4, in the South Clubhouse, doors open at 5:30pm and the price is $15 pp. Again please drop off your checks to Provi at 630 Twin Hills Dr., or call her at 845-1601. Note: we are moving back to South Clubhouse! We will be playing BINGO so bring a $3 for each card you want to play. I'm not sure how many games we'll be able to play, but if it goes fast who knows how many opportunities we'll get to win. Our food for November will be soup served in a bread bowl; you'll have a choice of beef stew, broccoli cheese soup or fish chowder with a Waldorf salad and pumpkin pie for dessert. As always coffee and water are provided and you are welcome to BYOB. A reminder: November's dinner is NOT be at the North Clubhouse. We are back in the South Clubhouse for November! If you have any questions or wish to cancel or bring someone call Jeri at (909) 731-3311 and I will try my best to assist you. December dinner will be at the South Clubhouse; dinner will be a choice of prime rib or ham, scrimp cocktail, potatoes au gratin, baked carrots with brown sugar, rolls and a decadent chocolate dessert. Yum yum! Price for December dinner will be $24 each. Our dues for 2017 will increase to $20 each but our dinners will remain $15 each. Our food costs and our entertainment have all increased. Paisano Club The Sun Lakes Computer Club will be meeting Nov. 3 and Nov. 17 at 1 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of each month. Our summer meetings (July, August, and September) are held only on the third Thursday of these months. The club is for persons of all computer skill levels. Each meeting will feature various topics and speakers. Handouts are given out for each presentation so you can take notes. This is a great way to share information and learn some of the ways in becoming an effective computer user. November topics: Nov. 3: Windows 10 Nov. 17: How to buy a Cell Phone Holiday Pot Luck party will be held Dec. 1 at the North Clubhouse. Membership dues are $20 per year per household. Computer Club We wonder about the purpose of life… What higher purpose than to discover our True Nature? Meditation, an integral part of proceeding on a path of Self (God) – Realization promises to do just that. When the mind with its myriad thoughts becomes quiet and still, we can feel what lies beyond. The Pure, Non-Dual (only ONE) Consciousness lies beyond and is our True, Undifferentiated and Eternal Being. Satsang (group meeting with a spiritual aim) begins with a 30 min. meditation (15 min. if new people are present) followed by a discourse and a short video presentation offered by a teacher adhering to the same teaching of Non-Duality. As always questions are warmly encouraged. We meet in the Multipurpose Room (next to the Library) in the Main Clubhouse, weekly on Sundays from 11:30 am to 1 pm. This is a FREE offering.
