GOBBLE, GOBBLE, GOBBLE… yes, it's that time of year when we give thanks…
thanks for living here in this beautiful community with so many wonderful friends
and neighbors. Thomas Caterer's will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner
of turkey, dressing, all the trimmings… and apple pie for dessert. For our pleasure,
Sheila James will be singing our favorites songs. You may come as a guest one time only.
Dinner is $14. Membership is $15. Guests living outside of Sun Lakes and are friends
of a resident are welcome at $16 per person. Make checks payable to Social Singles and
drop your checks off at Betty McMillion's home, 5549 Pinehurst Dr., 769-6636. Those
that want to sit together should put their checks in one envelope. Reservations and
cancellations must be in the FRIDAY BEFORE the dinner.
Nov. 16: LET'S GO TO THE MOVIES, Harkins Theater, Redlands
(the one with the reclining seats). Lunch at Tangs Chinese
Restaurant. Time and movie to follow.
Nov. 17: THURS. DINNER IN THE CLUBHOUSE, 5:30 pm. RSVP

Nov. 19: READER'S THEATRE…MALTESE FALCON, $8. 4 pm.
Wine and cheese in the South Clubhouse. Humphrey Bogart's big
role as Sam Spade. You'll love it!
Nov. 24: THANKSGIVING FEAST… IN THE CLUBHOUSE, $28.
12:30pm. Don't be alone this Thanksgiving. Join your friends for a
sumptuous dinner.
Nov. 26: SATURDAY LUNCHEON, 11:30 am. RSVP Doris Harrison,
769-3990 by Tues., Nov. 22.
Nov. 27: WAIT UNTIL DARK, $15 (or less). Footlighters Theater.
Leave SL at 11:45. Susan is a blind yet capable woman with a prize
for which thieves would kill. Will keep you on the edge of your seat.
