There's a very busy schedule in the Ballroom, and we were unable to obtain an evening early in the month. Look forward to next month on Wed., Dec. 14. For further info., call Carol 845-5962. Big Band Dance 80s Plus Club Our entertainment for the September gathering was Frank Lenz, a wonderful accordionist. He was such a refreshing surprise, that many in the group got up and danced to his music. Even after dinner, he continued playing and club members danced until well after the room is usually empty. Some of his tunes were Smoke Gets In Your Eyes, Stardust, Spanish Eyes, New York/New York among others, and ended with encouraging audience participation in Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree. Our meal was catered by Johnny Russo and included his fabulous lasagna and famous salad with his yummy bread. Dessert was cheesecake. November is our Thanksgiving catered dinner so reservations will be required. Please let Sandee know by Oct. 31 at 797-3201. December will be our holiday dinner and will be catered. Again, please notify Sandee by the end of the month. We meet the second Saturday of the month at 3 pm at the South Clubhouse. Spouses and caregivers are welcome to attend. For information call Barb at 845-7904. Int'l Culture Club The ICC social for November will be all about Thanks. A big thank you to the Board for their work this year; A big thanks to our membership for your participation; A big thanks for buying those raffle tickets that afforded ICC the opportunity to support our charities; A big thank you to our sun lakes kitchen for always being there for us. Any problem that arises is taken care of to our satisfaction. Thank you one and all. We will be giving thanks at our Social on the second thursday of November in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Doors open by 5:30 pm. Of course a turkey dinner will be served, and Skyline Express will be playing music to dance, and listen to. An added plus for those of you who may be considering ICC for one of your activities, if you join for 2017 in November or December, you may attend the December Dinner as a guest. Remember, First Thursday of the month, 3 pm at the North Clubhouse for table selection and reservations. We consider ourselves to be the "friendly club." Why don't you see for yourself.
