56 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2016
We are truly excited to look back on our first year and all that we
accomplished. We have welcomed over 150 members to the group,
initiated pack walks, hosted guest speakers, and started our charming
Four Seasons Dog of the Month in the Breeze. We also conducted
our first community-wide event in October with our Blessing of the
Animals. We hope to see this become an annual event.
We would like to take a moment to thank the entire FirstService
Residential team for their support throughout the year and our
board of directors and committee members who have provided great
guidance and insight throughout the year.
Our steering group will be meeting in December to revisit
the last 12 months and to plan for a big year in 2017. If you have
a dog or even if you just love dogs, please be sure to get into our
communications loop by contacting us at fsb.dogowners@gmail.
com or by joining our private Facebook group, Four Seasons D.O.G.
Everyone is welcome! Should you have any questions, feel free to
contact Martha Baumgarten at (951) 295-7209. Please note that we
will not be meeting in December. ~ Martha Baumgarten

Four Seasons D.O.G. of the Month
Meet Megan, aka Nutmeg. This pretty Sheltie girl joined the
Woodcock pack four years ago at Thanksgiving – hence her "other"
name. She was just a tiny puppy who made up for her petite size with
tons of fur. Megan loves playing tug of war with her pack mates and
posing for her photographer Mom, Alex. Megan enjoys cuddling in bed
with Dad Bruce on cool winter mornings. Her other favorite pastime
is eating - so Megan goes on lots of trail walks to maintain her girlish
figure. She is part of a fantastic fur family: Chance, a handsome rescue
Sheltie boy; Remy, a personality-plus Papillion who is the consummate
sock thief and "critter" chaser; and rescue kitties Macy and Skippy. ~
