Karaoke & Dance Party
Hi everybody, it's time for Dodger, whoops, I mean,
welcome to the Karaoke corner. Karaoke will be on Sun.,
Dec. 18, at 2 pm in the Karaoke Lounge. And also, I may
have been a little out of line in last month's Herald with
uninviting folks who have never been to karaoke, but I
would like to at this time, apologize, and put the blame
squarely where it belongs. It was my wife's fault. You see,
last year I got new glasses at Kaiser, and she liked the
frames that I got, so much, that she went and got the same
frames. So at the September karaoke session, I was really
encouraged to see so many people there, wow, maybe 120
or 130 people, and then again at the start of karaoke last
month, again 120 people, then my wife comes up and
says, you've got my glasses on, here's yours, so I put my
glasses on and it was like 80 people had left the room, she
has had cataract surgery and wears different lenses than
I do, I should have known something was wrong when
Orville and his two brothers, who looked exactly like him
all turned in a song slip with exactly the same song. So as
it turns out, we have plenty of room for new folks to come
and share the fun, see ya at karaoke. ~ Bill
