As the holidays occupy our days and weeks in December, we set a little time aside to reflect on a wonderful year of songs with close friends, both old and new. Every single one of our gatherings were special because of the good vibes and friendship as well as the discovery of amazing talent of some of the folks who have become regulars at our gatherings. Barb Miller, Rosie Ingalls and D.J. Blast want to take this space to wish by name all of you who have made these Karaoke shows such nice happenings all year long. There were many others who came by and made our shows more fun; sorry we could not list them all. We are looking forward to meeting many more of our residents at Sun Lakes in 2017. Our next Karaoke show will be on Sat., Jan. 14 in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom followed by Fri., Jan. 27 in The South Clubhouse. Expect a few great surprises (including Santa!), and beautiful music as usual. Our holiday repertoire includes new songs and old favorites. Concert dates and times are: Friday and Saturday, Dec. 2 and 3 at 7 pm, and Sun., Dec. 4 at 3 pm. Tickets are $8 pp, $6 for children under 12. You can even get your tickets at the door, but get there early for good seats! After this concert series, we'll take a break until Mon., Jan. 9, at 8:30 am for our membership/registration, followed by the first rehearsal at 9:30 am for our Spring Program. Karaoke Group
