Happy holidays to all our bocce ball players. Take advantage of our
holiday hiatus and make use of our courts. Have guests? Get them
out for some fresh air and competitive fun! Enjoy!
FYI — the Winter Tournament begins the week of Jan. 16 and
runs seven weeks. Entries must be in by Jan. 6. In an effort to match
players and comfortable temperatures, times for the tournament
will be 1, 2, 3, and, possibly, 4 pm, if needed, Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday. Bocce Club dues for 2017 will need to be paid and
remain at $12 pp. Such a deal — that buys you four tournaments if
you choose to participate!! Team fees remain at $3 pp or $12 per team
for each tournament played. ALL teams need to fill out the small
card available in the bocce cabinet at the beginning of each new year,
listing players, phone numbers, season and first and second choices
of playing days. That card will carry you through 2017, unless there
is a personnel change on the team. In that case, a new card will need
to be filled out.
If your team is new to the club, please include your email addresses
on the envelope containing your entry. If you have been around for a
while, have an email address, but haven't been receiving our updates,
by all means, include it on your entry as well. You don't know what
you've been missing!
Planning ahead — a 2017 Bocce schedule is posted on the back
side of the bocce cabinet. Names and phone numbers of team
members, the Bocce board members and referees are posted on the
back side of the bulletin board.
