Cruzin' Cronies is a Classic Car Club that meets the first Saturday of each month. Cars are displayed at 8 am in the Main Clubhouse parking lot, after which we meet briefly in the Multipurpose Room at 8:30 am, and then go to breakfast together to enjoy each other's company. There are no dues, just friendship, outings, and laughter. You don't even need a classic car to be a part of this happy group! For more information, call or email Sandra Glickman at 267-1113 or glickman18@gmail.com. We'd love to have you join us! Members of Cruzin' Cronies enjoy breakfast together at Billy Reed's in Palm Springs. L-R back row: Linda Vieira, Joan and Neil Torrance, club originator Johnny Grossman, Denny Rugenstein, Ken and Lavinia Brass, Richard and Alicia Kramer. L-R front row: Jim Potts, Ron and Sandra Glickman, Joann and Jim McDonald. 26 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JANUARY 2017 | Cruzin' Cronies It is now a few days into the new year of 2017 and we are hoping all your hangovers are gone by now. It's time to get back to our regular Photo Group schedule. The January meeting will be in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose room on Jan. 9 at 7 pm (the second Monday of each month). Our meetings are always informal and informational. If you are interested in photography, this is the best place to be. (There are more people here talking about their photos than in any dance group.) For January you can bring five of your favorite photos on either a thumb drive or disc to be shown on our large screen. The group is growing and many members are taking pictures that just get better and better. There will also be a tutorial on that little thing that shows up on your camera and is called RAW. It's not meat but similar in the way that your photos are in a state that needs to be worked with. You'll find out what it is and why you might need to shoot in Raw. There are no dues and if you are new to the game our members will be happy to help you out. Our group members run from novice to pro and all Sun Lakers are welcome. If you would like to see some of the group's work there is an electronic display near the restaurant. For more information you can call Steve Felber at 769-6898. Photo Group
