Greetings from your Big Band Dance Club Board in this new year of
2017.
We are pleased to have the Main Street Band include music from the 60s,
70s, 80s, as well as country western and line dancing. There will be request
cards available on your table for special music from the band. For first time
members this month, there will be no change for this event. Please invite a
single friend or a couple and help create a full audience for another musical
evening Thurs., Jan 26, at 5:30 pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Your
yearly dues of $25 are due this month, either deliver to 1315 Cypress Pt.
Dr., or bring to the dance. There will be no sign-ups in the Multipurpose
Room starting this month. A new snack menu was presented last month,
and it is delicious and plentiful. Entry fee is $10 for members and $15 for
non-members. Call Mike and/or Carol at 845-5962, anytime.
Big Band Dance
80s Plus Club
For our November gathering we played Bingo! Jerry and Ellie
Fawcett brought card Bingo to the 80s Plus Club again by popular
request and everyone had a great time. We had six big winners and
a lot of compliments about how fun it had been. Thank you Jerry
and Ellie!
January will also be a catered meal of chicken marsala from
Thomas Catering. So your reservations need to be in to Sandee by
the 30th of December at 797-3201. Her address is 1469 Littler, off
of Allin.
February will also be a Thomas Catering meal of pot roast plus all
the fixings, which will again require your reservations to Sandee by
the end of January.
We meet the second Saturday of the month at 3 pm at the South
Clubhouse. Spouses and caregivers are welcome to attend as well.
