Happy New Year to all our club members! Our Winter Tournament
begins the week of Jan. 16. If you haven't entered your team yet, you
have until Jan. 6 to do so. Keep in mind, we will play on Mondays,
Tuesdays and Wednesdays — no Thursdays, as we anticipate fewer
teams to sign up for the winter. Playing times will be 1, 2, and 3 pm,
hopefully the warmer part of each day!
If you have yet to enter your team, here are a few things you need
to know. Yearly dues need to be paid, still $12 pp. In addition, a $12
team fee needs to accompany your dues, that's $3 pp. If you're doing
the math, that totals $60 for the whole team. You will need to get an
entry card from the bocce cabinet, fill it out IN PENCIL with names
and phone numbers of your teammates. Circle your choice of day to
play and give us a second choice if you can. Drop monies and entry
card in an envelope with addresses of members on the front of said
envelope. If you haven't been receiving club emails, but you have an
e-address, include that on the front of the envelope also. The whole
works goes to 1288 Pleasant Valley. There is a Bocce Box at the front
door.
If you're confused, you're probably not alone! Dues are paid
ONCE a year. The team fee is paid each time you enter one of the
four tournaments we have each year. If your team stays intact for
the year, you will not have to fill out the entry card again until 2018.
If, however, there are personnel changes during the year, a new card
has to be filled out to reflect said changes. We hope this helps. Info.,
