18 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2017 The Landscape Committee would like to wish all of our residents a Happy New Year. As we enter 2017, there are a few reminders we'd like to share: • Insulate your exposed water pipes and spigots. • Remember that plants are going dormant for the winter and are not dead. • If you are walking on the trails and see that there is a broken pipe or sprinkler head, please make note of the nearest trail marker (e.g. A4) and report it to management. • If you notice something that doesn't look quite right when you are out walking and think it needs to be fixed, there is a form you can fill out, available at the front desk of the Lodge, the Landscape Request form. Please give as much information as you can about the location of the problem, house number, intersection or trail marker and submit it. Thank you for helping keep our neighborhood beautiful. We are covering an even larger area during our walks with the addition of new neighborhoods to the common area. The size of the front yard cost center remains the same, but we have increased our walks on the trails to include more common area in Phase D. We are happy that so many residents are enjoying the trails and natural habitat in our development. There have been some new fences placed on the trails to separate the Conservancy area from the trails. Please note that the Conservancy area is preserved as a natural area so there may be fallen trees or other sights that occur in nature. Please also remember that bicycles and strollers are never permitted on the trails, neither are golf carts and off-road recreational vehicles. Please be mindful of this while you are enjoying the beauty of the trails in our community. Also, since we are in the rainy season and may experience some heavy rainfall, please be careful about walking the trails after a rainfall. There may be washout areas and areas with mud puddles. As always, use caution. ~ Sharon Bond Landscape Committee
