FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2017 47 What a remarkable year "Believe…" Women's Bible Study experienced in 2016! With a roster of 70 beautiful women, and an average attendance of 40-45, a lot of wisdom, experience and counsel are exhibited by each participant. We completed our curriculum of "A Godly Woman Is…" study on Dec. 9, with the second of two lessons on "A Godly Woman Is Light." It was a beautiful experience studying what the Bible says is Light in our lives, and that we, as Christians, are indeed the lights in a dark world. As usual, the input was exceptional and amazing. We held our annual potluck Christmas party on Dec. 16 in the Ballroom, and the food was outstanding as usual, as was the entertainment by gifted and talented Nancy Lechner. We also had a gift exchange this year instead of the traditional "Secret Sister Project" we implemented in the past two years. The ladies have all grown to love each other, and many friendships have developed through the study, so there was lots of interaction and fun. At the end of the party, we played a review game, and the winners got to take home the table centerpieces. On Jan. 6, we will be starting our fourth year of "Believe…" Women's Bible Study. The first six weeks we will be studying the women of the Bible, what they were like, why they were exceptional, and how their lives, struggles and belief impact us today. A few of the ladies have volunteered to teach three of the lessons, so there will be a new perspective added to the lessons. If you are interested in joining an amazing and beautiful group of Godly women, who love the Lord and His Word, please consider joining us on Jan. 6, in the Lodge Game Room next to the Library, from 10:30 to 11:45 am. This is a non-denominational study, and any version of the Bible is fine. We hope to see you soon! ~ Eileen Gilbert-Antoine "Believe…" Women's Bible Study The Jewish Social Club (Cha-vu-rah) welcomes all interested Four Seasons residents who want to connect to Judaism, its culture and celebrations. In January, we continue our popular Dinner & A Movie Venue in the Four Seasons Movie Theatre, from 6 to 8:30 pm. The showing will be after a Lox 'N Bagel Bash (6 pm). A traditional bagel bash including bagels, lox (salmon), cream cheese, tomatoes, and onions are provided, along with popcorn for the movie. Look for the event flyer available in the Lodge. Members of the Chavurah also enjoy social, cultural and religious get-togethers, and connections to other organizations in and around the community. A sister organization is forming a trip to travel to Israel in 2017. This amazing and spiritual 14-day land and air excursion will be a trip of a lifetime, titled, 'Walking in the footsteps of Moses and Jesus.' The Award-winning travel agent will answer questions about the dates, details, and costs at a private presentation at a member's home in February.
