22 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | January 2017 | Art Group Art Trip! A few of the upcoming art activities and events for 2017 at Four Seasons. On the second Tuesday of each month we will be offering some new evening classes. All residents of Four Seasons are welcomed and the only requirement is to sign up in the ART Room. Friendly reminder, classes do fill up quickly. ZENTANGLE: JAN. 17, AT 6:30 PM IN THE ART ROOM Join us for a fun and relaxing evening of Zen Tangle. No previous experience required, just come and try your hand at "meditative doodling". All supplies are provided and you will take home your very own finished work of art. PAINT NIGHT: FEB. 7, AT 6:30 PM IN THE ART ROOM If you haven't attended a Paint Night, then you won't want to miss this fun evening. It's a way to break away from your typical night out. You get to spend two hours creating a one-of-a-kind painting, laughing with friends and even have a cocktail or glass of wine! PAINT NIGHT: MARCH 7, AT 6:30 PM IN THE ART ROOM Another Paint Night, so if you missed the one in February here's a second chance to come and join the fun and see what everyone is talking about! FINE ART SHOW: MARCH 11, FROM 11 AM TO 3 PM IN THE BALLROOM The Fine Art Show is open to all Four Season residents with original art work to show and sell. Cost only $10 per table to be a part of this wonderful display of amazing art from our own residents. Refreshments will be served as well. PALETTE KNIFE PAINTING: APRIL 11 Complete a painting with the use of palette knifes. Coming this spring and open to all residents is a Silver Lining Travel bus trip to the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena. More information to follow next month. Join us on Facebook at A.R.T. Group, and get all the up to date information on the ART Group and its upcoming events and activities. Also members of the ART Group meet on Thursday at 12 pm for lunch in the Bistro. If you are interested in anything involving ART, then come join us! It's lively conversation, laughter and another opportunity to meet new people in our community. Last but not least, don't forget to check out all the daytime classes offered by the ART group. Sign-up sheets for the various classes are in the ART Room. You never know, you might just discover your artistic side! The Four Seasons Art Group has arranged for a fabulous trip to the world famous Norton Simon Museum in the heart of Pasadena, with special exhibit "Serial Flirtations: Rotari's Muses," on Wed., March 29. The ticket price includes lunch at Buca de Beppo Italian restaurant, a host, transportation, and group entry into the museum. All for just $79 per person.
