TGIF
TGIF will now be held on the first Friday of every month only. We
have officially dropped the third Friday. We know that if TGIF were
to discontinue, it would be hard to restart. So to hopefully increase
attendance, and to keep this fun, neighborly gathering going for
everyone, the Committee has elected to go to once a month.
We will continue our DVD concerts on an every other month basis
and hope that more dancers will join us this coming year!
Here's the schedule for the first part of the year!
Jan. 2 - Happy New Year, music only
Feb. 3 - Yeehaw Country Night, "Shania Twain LIVE from Vegas"
(line dancers will love this!)
March 3 - Happy St. Patrick's Day, music only
April 7 - Springtime!, "ABBA" music videos. (Wanted All Dancing
Queens!)
So now you understand the new format! Subsequent months will
be detailed in future issues of the Herald.
As always, the doors open at 5 pm with dinner beginning at 5:30
pm. Concerts will begin at 6 pm.
We will continue to offer raffles each month -- so bring your
dollars! If you have any fun items you would like to donate for the
raffles, please contact Robin Rickert.
Bring a dish for 8-10 to share and your own utensils and beverages.
We will provide hot water, instant coffee and tea.
If there is still interest in adding back the third Friday to the
calendar, interested residents who wish to form a committee for that
night should contact Louise at the Lodge office directly.
We are looking forward to a fun year and we are hopeful that more
neighbors will give TGIF a try!
