36 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | January 2017 | Bocce Something new to talk about for the New Year 2017, the Bocce Club had their Championship Game on Dec. 4 and we had a great time with all the teams playing this year for Best Team. Coming in a very close second place are Barry and Remy Wilson and Rusty and Cora Qunidoza and the team placing first place for the 2016 season was Gerald and Lucille Gould and Rosie and Mike Zuniga and their extra player Dottie Bartz. Please congratulate the teams when you see them here at the Lodge. We encourage all our friends and neighbors to watch closely for some new and different information about the Bocce Club in the next article of the Herald. We hope this will bring more players to join us for the 2017 season. Meanwhile, our Bocce players will celebrate the teams victory on Jan. 15 at the Banquet and we will have some surprises for the players. Make sure you have RSVP your teams and get ready to party. If you have questions please contact Ross Brunetto at (951) 926-8295. See everyone soon. Dennis Bovee participated in the Swimming category of Old-lympics and won 5 Silver and 2 Gold metals. Congratulations to Dennis! Old-lympics "Walk-Fit" Exercise Club Why not get a head start on your New Year Resolutions by adding some exercise to your schedule? It will help keep the extra holiday pounds off and relieve a little stress. Bring a friend and join us for a brisk walk in the comfort of the Lodge Ballroom. The "Walk Fit" Exercise Club offers you three hours a week of easy-to-follow, low impact aerobic activity. You can tailor the class to your own needs and schedule. The full one hour class (three times a week) is a four mile walk, but you can join us for as much as will work for you. You can leave early or arrive later to shorten your walk. If you can only be there one or two days a week, that's okay too. New members are always welcome, both men and women. We meet Mon., Wed. and Fri. from 7:45 to 8:45 am in the Lodge Ballroom (for the full hour). We are free. For more information contact Karen Tuvim (951) 599-4236 or Kay Masonbrink (951) 223-3047.
