| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | January 2017 | 5 A Message From Your General Manager By Rick Ruth, CMCA Happy New Year everyone! I hope you spent time with friends and family and brought them up to the Lodge that was so beautifully decorated by many awesome volunteers. We are blessed with many giving, generous people on the Holiday Decorating Committee and other residents who contribute to this endeavor. Please take the time to thank them. Or better yet, if you have not had the opportunity to volunteer to help decorate the Lodge, please do so next year. As 2017 begins, I thank all of you for your support in allowing me to celebrate nine years of service to your community and to also acknowledge our management staff associates who, without their collective efforts, would make managing your community very difficult, if not impossible. Those individuals who make this happen are: Mari Salazar, Assistant General Manager; Louise Ceccarelli, Activities Director; Michelle Restle, ARC/Administrative Assistant; and our Lodge Attendants Brenda, Janet, Jim, Tracie, Julie and Maria. We are very fortunate to have a staff that really cares about serving you, being good stewards of your money and strives to do their best to meet the daily challenges that come with managing a senior community that is now 13 years "young." We also want to acknowledge our Board of Directors: Russ, Ken, Jim, Tony, Don and Gene who have given and continue to give many hours of service to this community and most importantly give us their full support. In this month's Board message, Russ Brown acknowledged our President Greg Rockvam who stepped down from the Board last month. I also want to extend our sincere appreciation for all Greg did for not only our staff, but more importantly, the community. Greg, you'll be missed and we wish you all the best. We talk a lot about communication. How do we get the message across to you? We know email is the fastest, but not all of those who are signed up open our messages. We provide information in the monthly billing, both hard copy and electronically. We have the electronic message board in the Lobby. We also include important messages in the Herald, which you are reading at this moment. We do all of this in hopes that you will inform yourselves. If you ever have any association-related questions, please ask US. Relying on social media for answers to questions you have relating to this association may not be reliable. We will make every effort to provide you the correct information. Finally, my usual reminders… Please stop at all STOP signs, observe the 25 MPH speed limit, pick up after your pets and most important, be kind and considerate to your fellow neighbors.
