Fri., Jan. 2: Elvis through the Years, Ballroom; Doors open at 7 pm; $20 pp, tickets on sale now This is a look at Elvis through his illustrious singing career performed by George Thomas. More information on page 7. Excursion sign ups begin Monday, January 1, 2017. PLEASE NOTE: Due to some of the excursion refund policies and to keep cancellations down to a minimum, we ask those who wish to sign up for an excursion to please check your calendar for prior engagements prior to signing up for excursions. REFUND POLICY: 1. Cancellations made 30 days prior to the departure date of an excursion or special event will qualify for a full refund, unless otherwise specified. 2. Cancellations made after the 30 day refund deadline are not refundable. However, if an excursion or event has sold out and there is a wait list, the Recreation Department may issue a refund if the ticket can be resold from the wait list. Thank you! Wed., Feb. 1: Solera Diamond Valley 100 mile club Join the Lifestyles department in 2017 as we start the 100 mile club! These 100 miles can be done by running or walking (on your own). Starting in February, we will have a poster in the entrance of the gym next to the Lifestyle office where you can log your miles. Once you reach 100 miles, there are prizes in store for you. This program will go from February 1 to July 31 (six months) and you can start anytime. Pull out your pedometer or GPS and get to work. If you are able to reach the hundred mile mark before the end of the event, sign up again for another prize. We have a maximum of two rounds per year. Disclaimer: this is on the honor system. Sun., Feb. 5: Super Bowl Party, 3 to 7 pm, Ballroom $7 pp, tickets on sale Jan. 15 The game will be shown on the big projector screen.
