FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2017 19 It is winter here at the Four Seasons. We welcome the much needed rain. Our landscape contractors have turned off their water to common areas which will save us thousands of dollars. Many of our trees and plants go dormant over the winter months; rest assured they are not dead but resting until the spring. The Landscape Committee meets every second Monday of the month at 8 am in the RCN Conference Room. All homeowners are invited to attend. ~ Linda Ruoff Landscape Committee At our December meeting, we reviewed financial statements for the month of November, which reflected the following significant amounts: Total assets $8,129,209 including checking $406,011 and reserve assets $5,946,041. Operating money market and CDs totaled $1,666,831. Total liabilities were $276,802 and total equity of $1,906,366. Net loss for the month is $13,351 and year-to-date net income $85,585. Front yard cost center expenses were over budget by $7,342 and Springdale cost center expenses were under budget by $162. Three vendor proposals were reviewed and recommended for board approval. Six homeowners and Board Liaison Jerry Monahan were present. Membership on the committee for 2017 was determined to be the following: Removed due to term limits: Noel Myers, Georgia Coleman, Bob Mehlville and Donald Fant, Chair. Removed per personal determination: Wayne Staples and Dick Bentley. Remaining members: Baron Ginnetti. It was noted that Jim Ayala will join the committee in January pending Board approval, bringing total membership to two. The next regular scheduled meeting will be Feb. 28 at 1 pm. All homeowners are invited to attend. ~ Don Fant Finance Committee
