FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2017 41 So much fun, competition and bragging rights. Not only do we have fun playing, but in the meantime we get to know each other better. We play every second Monday at 4 pm and Every third Saturday at 3 pm in the Card Room. We encourage new players, you do not have to know the game… we will teach you that all you need is to want to have fun. Once in a while we go out to dinner after the Saturday game. After a Saturday game in December, we went to Russo's. Just look at our group — I think did they really roll up the straw paper wrapping and throw them at each other, across the table? Just for your information Marion won the throwing contest. ~ Cheri Howard Phase 10 Bridge for Fun Our Monday and Wednesday, Bridge for Fun groups keep having a great time. Verina, who heads up our Wednesday group, got a big surprise from us for Christmas. We got her a Christmas oven mitt… I know big deal right? There was a dollar bill hanging out of the mitt so when she pulled it out it was attached to another dollar and another and another and another. It was hysterical to watch her keep pulling out those dollars! It seemed it would never end. We had great fun with it and Verina was touched that we took the time and effort to surprise her with such a crazy gift. We look forward to welcoming new bridge players in the new year. Bill Guy is offering to teach those who want to learn the game or those who just need a brush up. We play in the Card Room at noon on both days. For information on Monday's game call Bill Guy at (951) 845-5627 or Wednesday's game call Verina Rector at (951) 769-1687. ~ Tom Halley We meet monthly on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30 am in the Lodge Ballroom.
