While we have had alternating days of sunshine and rain, we have
managed to keep POP Tennis (also known as Paddle Tennis) going
strong throughout the winter months.
December brought a fun holiday party complete with a white
elephant gift exchange.
January and February ushered in great weather that has allowed
regular play to continue.
A corrected club update for 2017: Officers: President, Jeannie
McGuire; Vice President, Tracy Galongo. There are no dues collected
for the POP Tennis Club.
We welcome anyone interested in the game to join us. No paddle-
no problem as we have ones to share. Our scheduled days of play are
Tues., Thurs. and Fri. from 8 to 10 am and Mon., Wed. and Sat. from
10 am to noon. On Sunday, the courts are open to both POP Tennis
Club and Pickleball Club players. There are many POP Tennis
players showing up to play on Sunday.
Hope each of you had an opportunity to stop by the Pop Tennis
Club table at the Activities Day Event at the Main Clubhouse last
month. If not, stop by the courts any time — always looking for
new players.
