A Note From Your Activities Director
By Louise Ceccarelli
It's February, and already the year is running
away from us. I hope all who attended really
enjoyed the comedy night. It's always good for
us to laugh — it's even healthy! And who doesn't
enjoy remembering the good ol' days.
Our Taste of Elegance committee is working
diligently on getting all the tastes set up, gifts
donated, and the beer and wine ready to enjoy.
The two charities chosen for this years' event are
Jacob's House in Temecula, and our own Hemet
Police Department — Police Dog. We hope you
will choose to join us for this fun and tasty event.
Invite your friends and family (no one under 21
please) to join in as well. Tickets will be $20 per
person and go on sale Feb. 28 at 10 am. Checks and
credit cards accepted. If you would like to donate a
gift for the raffles, or know of a business that will,
please let me know. See the Taste of Elegance flyer
on page 8 of this magazine.
Happy Valentine's Day on the 14th and see you
around the Lodge.
