Social Committee
Now that you are ready to turn the page over from January to
February, it is never too late to extend a big thank you to Karen
Hikel, Donna McLaughlin and Beverly Rockvam for taking the lead
to decorate our Lodge for the Christmas holidays. Not only decorate,
but they also organized a day to pack it all up for Christmas 2017.
This was a major undertaking and with the assistance of the "holiday
decorating volunteers" and Team Sunshine, our Lodge once again
radiated the Christmas spirit here at Four Seasons.
And as we said "good-bye to 2016" and welcomed "2017", this
was all made possible by Margie Culton and Roxy Snider, Co-Chairs
for "Putting on the Ritz" …and that they did along with a committee
of volunteers. Check out the pictures on the following page.
Our next fun-filled evening will be the Sock Hop, Feb. 25, (details
on page 9 of this magazine) when our ballroom will represent those
days that we all enjoyed… "Rock Around the Clock" with Bill Haley
and His Comets! Ladies… your poodle skirt will be the proper
attire for the evening… and you guys, where is your lettermans
jacket?
And for all of you history buffs, a trip to the Richard Nixon
Presidential Library in Yorba Linda is planned for Fri., Feb. 24. For
more information, see the trip details in this magazine on page 8.
Diana O'Grady Williams is in charge of the Social Committee bus
excursions.
As we begin this new year, please keep in mind that the Social
Committee is always looking for volunteers to chair and/or co-chair
an event, as well as be a committee member to participate in the
planning of a social event for our Four Seasons residents. We really
do have a lot of fun. If you are interested, please fill out a volunteer
form at the front desk and someone from the Social Committee will
personally contact you.
And the beat goes on…
