SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | FEBRUARY 2017 19
By Alan Siegel, Resident
On December 13, nearly 100 residents decorated
their golf carts, bicycles and convertibles with
holiday trimmings and went around the community
stopping at specific designated stops to sing
Christmas Carols. This annual parade grows more
popular every year with more and more people in
the caroling parade itself, as well as the crowds that
gather at each stop to join in the caroling festivities.
There was good cheer in the air and in the flasks
in the pockets of the celebrants. At the end of the
caroling caravan, Rick and Harriet Brunner provided
the cold and thirsty carolers with the hospitality of
the season that warmed everyone's spirits.
