4 SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | FEBRUARY 2017 FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER By Greg Rainier The Next Board of Directors meeting is Thursday, February 16, at 2 pm in the Mountain View Lodge Ballroom. The Board of Directors have approved a new position titled Code Compliance which is a temporary position for now and will be reevaluated in four to six months. Sunshine Baker, our Facility Monitor, has accepted this position and will be doing weekly neighborhood drives recording violations on many levels, landscaping, outside home improvements, illegal signs and vehicles, etc. Warning letters and hearing letters will be sent out to anyone violating the Governing Documents, Rules and Regulations and Design Guidelines! Many residents are NOT using a towel to dry off when they get out of the inside pool which is causing excessive water all over the floors. Please dry off before entering the locker rooms and double doors into the lobby of the Lodge. As a reminder to residents, you are allowed one For Sale sign, or one Open House sign, or one Garage Sale sign on your front lawn ONLY. All other signs MUST be outside of the community walls. Once again residents are allowed to park their motor homes in front of their homes for 48-hours per month ONLY. This is in your CC&Rs and cannot be changed at this time. I am pleased to announce that many more residents are using their ID card to enter the Lodge. Please remember to have your ID card on you at all times in the Lodge, pool areas, sports courts and Paseos. This helps staff and security to identify owners who are allowed access to all common areas. Please remember if you water your landscaping early in the morning, due to these cold temperatures, the water will freeze and cause a slippery situation on sidewalks when residents are out walking! Remember it is the homeowner's responsibility to maintain their front landscape, hardscape and the front of their home. Any changes must be submitted to the Design Review Committee for approval prior to changes being done. The trees in the parkway and in front of your home, are YOUR responsibility to maintain. This means, if they need trimming or replacing you MUST take care of this.
