This is the new trend in Yoga and is great for those who want to loosen up and share a glass of wine with friends! What you can expect during this event: Several varietals of wine; Light snacks; During yin yoga, expect feel-good adjustments and gentle massages; Essential oils to help calm your mind and body; Relaxing music; You'll leave feeling extremely peaceful and uplifted! Note: Yin Yoga incorporates the use of props. Please bring the following: Two blankets/throws (a large beach towel will work); Yoga strap (a long belt will work); Bolster or pillow. Monday, March 13: "Doc Talk" 10 to 11 am, Ballroom. Learn from Dr. Memon about how to make healthy choices in the New Year including topics such as blood pressure, diet and exercise. Join us for an evening with California's premiere Beatles tribute band The Silver Beatles. This talented band, based in Southern California, will take you on an audio "Magical Mystery Tour" visiting the entire Beatles repertoire along the way. If you love the Beatles, from the Ed Sullivan years through Sgt. Pepper's and beyond, you will love The Silver Beatles. Doors open at 7 pm, cocktail hour is at 6 pm. UPCOMING EVENTS FEBRUARY APRIL MAY Wednesday, February 1: Solera Diamond Valley 100 mile club. Join the Lifestyles department in 2017 as we start the 100 mile club! These 100 miles can be done by running or walking (on your own). Starting in February, we will have a poster in the entrance of the gym next to the Lifestyle office where you can log your miles. Once you reach 100 miles, there are prizes in store for you. This program will go from February 1 to July 31 (six months) and you can start anytime. Pull out your pedometer or GPS and get to work. If you are able to reach the hundred mile mark before the end of the event, sign up again for another prize. We have a maximum of two rounds per year. Disclaimer: this is on the honor system. Sunday, February 5: Super Bowl Party, 3 to 7 pm, Ballroom; $7 pp, tickets on sale now. The game will be shown on the big projector screen. Paul Getty Center with lunch at the Soup Plantation, 8 am to approx. 7 pm, $54 pp. The day starts with lunch at the Soup Plantation then onto the newly built J. Paul Getty Center where you will be surrounded by gardens, terraces and dramatic architecture along with a spectacular museum with works of art you will long remember.
