FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2017 21 Lodge Committee The Lodge Committee met on Jan. 25. We welcome our newest member, Dianne Anderson, who has already been a huge contributor to our committee. We had a table at the Committee Membership Drive and are pleased to report that we had two interested residents, who will be attending our next meeting. Thank you to Jerry Monahan for organizing this very important event. A date for the Bistro kitchen renovation has finally been scheduled to begin the first week of March. Please remember that the Bistro will be closed for approximately one week. Bob Brandon is our committees facilitator for the Bistro and he will keep us posted as to the renovation. We are going to be presenting proposals to Facilities for the reduction of sound in the Salon, as well as one for new quartz countertops. Larry Anderson has completed his interviews with both movie goers and library patrons. Our committee will be forming new ideas for both, depending upon his findings. Jill, Larry and three residents will be forming a group to assist in the choosing of movies, specials, classics and other new ideas. Rick Loney is still completing his interviews regarding the Billiard Room, and we will be reviewing possible alternatives. It is so rewarding to be a member of this exciting committee and I would like to thank all of the residents who have called, emailed or suggested changes to make the Lodge greater. We meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 11 am. The next meeting will be March 22 in the Lodge Conference Room. ~ Jill Anderson The Rules and Regulations Committee would like to welcome all interested residents to join us. Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 9 am. Most of our members are new to the committee and we have been studying the CC&Rs, Bylaws, Community Guidelines and other documents that are so important to our community. During our next meeting, we will be voting on the new committee officers and reviewing the committee charter. Our new Chairperson, John Hendzel, will be leading the meeting with the assistance of Cheri Howard, Co-Chairperson and Jeanne Glanville, Board Liaison. This is a great opportunity to help maintain the standards that set Four Seasons at Beaumont apart.
