FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2017 29
Birding Club Interest Group
The Four Seasons Birding Club welcomes beginning and
experienced birders to start or hone our bird identification skills.
The Club's main activity is monthly bird walks along Four Seasons'
beautiful nature trails, which follow native riparian woodlands and
preserve endangered habitat. Endangered species such as the Least
Bell's Vireo (pictured above) have been observed from the trails along
with other interesting species, some widespread and some restricted
to the riparian habitat. We will keep lists of species identified on the
bird walks and of total species identified in Four Seasons. We will
also take field trips to local birding hot spots, discuss backyard bird
feeding, and learn about other clubs, regional listings, birding gear,
identification challenges, and on-line birding resources such as rare
bird alerts. Please sign up at the Lodge hall clipboard rack to show
interest and be contact for future outings. For more information
please contact Steve Edleman at Steve.h.edelman@gmail.com. ~
