Facilities Committee
The Facilities Committee looks at a variety of projects and
maintenance issues. Our main concern is maintaining and
enhancing our community. By now you have noticed the new carpet
in the Lodge lobby, hallways and Bistro. Thanks goes to all who voted
on the new pattern.
Some of you may be asking the question "What's with the
replacement of the pool patio cover?" The answer is permits. The
City of Hemet wanted to verify the footings for the support beams
before issuing them. The matter has been resolved, permits issued
and by the time you read the March Herald, construction should
have commenced. You will notice that the new cover is Alumawood
which will last many years. For future cover replacements such as the
remaining pool covers, bocce and shuffleboard courts, Alumawood
will be considered as their replacements as well.
With ongoing activities as well as new ones, storage has become
an issue at our Lodge. Our committee is looking at a new storage
building in the old horseshoe pit area. This will allow the Ballroom
to be free of storage behind the partitions where tables and chairs
are currently being stored maximizing the Ballroom area. We are
talking with contractors to come up with the best alternative that
will blend in with our current architecture at the best price. Once we
have come up with a concept it will go to our Board of Directors for
consideration.
Reminder: if you have any concerns or questions regarding our
community, please pick up a suggestion form at the Lobby front desk.
Hope all is well and your life here at Four Seasons continues to be
an enjoyable one.
