Thank you for a great event! In early April my brother and I approached Sun Lakes Country Club about hosting an Anniversary Event for our parents. "Talk to Debbie" we were immediately advised. Debbie helped us compare the various offerings at the club houses, and we found out that we could use the Sand Wedge! She helped us put together elegant main dish choices paired with lovely side dishes all prepared by the Sun Lakes restaurant. The hour of our event arrived and the Sand Wedge was decked out. The tables were set (tableware included) and dressed in beautiful linens (included). The staff (included) was putting finishing touches on the turnover but was still generously available to help us with odd and end decorating needs. Our guests were welcomed by a helpful guard house and everyone found the party! We had a full bar, a dedicated bathroom, very friendly corkage fee, and Rich the super bartender, waiter, photographer, and coordinator. He even ran a special trip to the lounge bar for a blended request. The yummy, very yummy, so yummy cake was made by Mr. Bob Golchert. He and his talented friend put together a lovely table that was the crowning glory of the room. The end of the event bill wasn't any more painful than had we hosted our 30 guests at a modest restaurant, but our parents enjoyed a country club level event. It was a hit, the perfect little venue.
