friends of bocce The Fall Bocce Tournament begins the week of Sept. 10, skipping Labor Day week. If you haven't signed up yet, there is still time, but not much! The deadline for entries is 5 pm, Aug. 31. If you're already a member, your team only needs to pay the team fee of $3 pp, $12 per team. Entries go to Steve at 1463 Birdie. When you get your schedules, you'll notice a big change. We're going to try a split schedule this fall. We'll be continuing the summer hours for the first five weeks, that is, 5, 6, 7, and 8 pm. On the sixth week the schedule will move to the usual fall/spring times, 3, 4, 5, and 6 pm. This is, obviously, our attempt to better deal with the temperatures in September and early October. Depending on how well this works, we may do the same thing in reverse in the spring. This is NOT going to be as confusing as you may now be thinking! Pickleball hours are Monday thru Saturday, 8:30 am and Monday evening at 5 pm. Paddle Tennis hours are Thursday and Friday at 8 am and Tuesday and Thursday evening at 5 pm.
