CLUBS & GROUPS Amphitheater Production Group The Amphitheater Production Group's GRAND FINALE will be on Sun., Sept. 16, and all the fun begins earlier than usual, so please take note and mark your calendars. At this fi nal Amphitheater summer event we will again partner with the Marcus Heart Foundation, with even more exciting offerings than last year. The Marcus Heart Foundation was established in memory of PFC. Marcus Allen Tynes to assist Riverside County youth in their education and their creative interests by providing them with supplies, transportation and scholarship funds. The afternoon will start at 5 pm, with a Bar-B-Q Picnic Dinner provided by Famous Dave's from Rancho Cucamonga. Chicken, ribs and combo dinner prices will range from $10-15, with desserts and drinks available for purchase as well. To reserve your dinner please sign up at the Lodge to ensure availability. Come early to enjoy the food and put in your bids for the Foundation's Silent Auction. Many wonderful and amazing items will be auctioned off. Examples from last year's auction included Airfare Tickets for 2, Front Row Seats at a Kings Hockey Game, Hotel Stay for 2, a complimentary Steak Dinner. This year's auction items have yet to be determined, but promise to be of the same caliber. To be part of the Silent Auction don't forget to bring some "Fun Money. " Entertainment will begin at 7 pm, featuring the fabulous Tesserae Band that residents enjoyed singing, laughing and dancing to at last year's Grand Finale. Four Season Singers The Four Seasons Singers worked hard on the Fourth of July show, so we took a vacation during the month of August. We will start rehearsing again Sept. 10, concentrating on the Holiday Show as well as singing at San Gorgonio Hospital and caroling. New music has been ordered and received and will be passed out on Sept. 10. Some of the music is traditional and some will just be fun to sing. Thinking about joining us in September as we learn this new music? Come out to receive your music. Remember, even if you can't read music you can join us if you want to sing. Just call me at (951) 797-3466 or email me at bawasco@dc.rr.com. We are also always on the lookout for a full time piano player to accompany our singing. ~ Barbara Wasco 22 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2012 We will conclude the evening with more than one Amazing Big and Little Door-Less Prize, happily given away, so be sure not to miss all the fun and watch for the Lodge fl yer containing many more details. Just a reminder that we have always had two entrances to our Amphitheater. When you walk past the pool and towards the Amphitheater the walk separates, walking to the left takes you to the main entrance with stairs, walking around to the right is a ramp for anyone who is stair-challenged. We also have two wheelchairs available at the Lodge, just ask for one. See you at The Amphitheater. Info., (951) 849-5535. ~ Penny McDonell
