Our pickleball roster was recently updated and we now have
over 60 residents playing this great game. We are pleased to see
new players attending the introductory class on Thursday at 1
pm. This class is very helpful in learning the basic concepts before
heading out to the courts and playing with other players.
The February issue of the Pickleball Magazine had some
statistics of what occurred in 2016 throughout the United States.
Here are some highlights:
*Places to Play: 4,747 (increase of 970 or 80.8 per month)
*Total Courts: 16,549 (increase of 3,760 or 313.3 per month)
*Members: 16,793 (increase of 6,491 or 540.9 per month)
Our growth in participation at Four Seasons reflects this national
trend. We are anxiously awaiting the day when the number of
courts is increased to meet the needs of all the pickleball players.
