FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2017 47 After enjoying four lessons on "Worry-Free Living," the ladies were ready for a more complex study: the Book of Revelation coming right up! We'll probably read and study this amazing book for a few months. It will be a delight to embark on this study because the promise is that we will all be blessed for reading and studying it. On June 2 at 11:45 am we will have our "Believeā¦" summer potluck luncheon in the first section of the Ballroom, after our scheduled lesson at 10:30 am. We always have such a lovely time, and a luncheon gives the ladies time to get to know one another in a different setting. And there's a mountain of extremely wonderful food. These ladies can COOK! We are invited to a fashion show and luncheon on June 7 at the CrossWord Christian Church in Moreno Valley, hosted by our Four Seasons friend, Clauzella Saucer. Some of us attended a couple of years ago, and it was a delight. If you are interested in studying the Word with beautiful Christian women, please consider joining us for our regular lessons every Friday at 10:30 am in the Card Room next to the Library. This is a non- denominational study, and any version of the Bible is acceptable. We'd love to have you join us! ~ Eileen Gilbert-Antoine "Believeā¦" Women's Bible Study Life Guide Bible Study Doc Sellars will begin a series on God's Glorious Kingdom on April 4. All Four Seasons residents are welcome to join us to share and learn from God's Word. We usually meet in the third section of the Lodge Ballroom, unless otherwise scheduled. We will keep participants informed of any changes, please contact Doc or Letha with any questions or comments at (951) 797-3302 or docletha72@gmail.com. ~ Doc Sellars The Jewish Social Club (Chavurah) welcomes all interested Four Seasons residents who want to connect to Judaism, its culture and celebrations. In the next months, we have planned several outstanding events. In April, the Chavurah is dark so everyone can attend the Passover Seder of their choice. In our area we have three sister congregations, Congregation Emanu El in Redlands, Etz Hazar in Redlands, and Temple Beth Am in San Jacinto. The next Chavurah event will be in May with our fourth dinner and a movie night at the Lodge Theatre, from 6 to 8:30 pm. Sponsored by Nancy Justice, an award-winning movie will be shown at 6:45 pm after a refreshment nosh at 6 pm sponsored by members. Look for the event flyer with more details, available in the Lodge. Members of the Chavurah also enjoy social, cultural and religious get-togethers, and connections to other organizations in and around the community. A sister organization is forming a trip to travel to Israel in 2017. This amazing and spiritual 14-day land and air excursion will be a trip of a lifetime, titled, 'Walking in the footsteps of Moses and Jesus.' A presentation will be at a private home in May. Look for the flyer in the Lodge for more details, date and time. For more information about these events, and to be put on our email list, please contact us at chavurah.time@aol.com, or talk to a real social committee person, Nancy Justice (951) 769-5804, or Dr. Zee & Ernie Knapp, (714) 423-4755. ~ Dr. Zee 'Rachel' & Ernie Knapp, Coordinators.
