The big event this month is the popular Live WFSB-Radio Show in the Lodge Ballroom on Friday, April 7 at 6 pm. You are welcome to bring in your dinners and drinks and enjoy a free performance of "old timey" radio. Tom Shelley and the PAC performers will be drawing you into the compelling and humorous stories. You sure can't beat the price for all of this entertainment! Next will be our honoring of committee members, District Delegates and Board of Directors who served the Homeowner's Association last year. The Association-sponsored "Appreciation Brunch" is a great opportunity to honor those who have given so much to our community. As usual there will be tons of surprises, lots of laughs, an amazing guest and a program you won't want to miss. Please encourage your neighbors who have served to attend. There will be invitations sent out to this "invitation only" affair. We appreciate you patting these folks on the back for their investment in the community and letting them know how grateful we always are for our volunteers. The final big event this month is the HOA Garage Sale, happening on Saturday, April 29 from 8 am to 2 pm. If you are interested in participating you can sign-up at the Lodge front desk. The required $7 fee includes your City Garage Sale Permit, as well as the advertising costs in public media. We advertise to all the neighboring communities and we get quite a large attendance from outside the gates. As you will read in this magazine, there have been some real treasures found in these garage sales.
