What a fabulous group of ladies make up the Four Seasons Curly
Cues billiards group! We have such a great time, and a lot of the
ladies are getting really proficient!
Due to unforeseen circumstances and due dates for the Breeze
articles, I neglected to provide photos of our Jan. 23 tournament
winners. Sorry! Here are our amazing winners: First place: Donna
Lewis and Janine Rohrbacker; Second place: Teri Martin and Alex
Vanhoose (see photos). Their names are the first to appear on our
new Curly Cues plaque in the Billiards Room. You all did really
well, ladies, and we are so proud that you are in our fun group!
Congratulations!
On Feb. 13, we held our bi-monthly luncheon at La Casita
Restaurant, hosted by Bev Lunetta. We all had a wonderful time
chatting and eating the great Mexican fare. (See photo of all the
ladies enjoying their meals.) So much fun!
After the luncheon we returned to the Lodge and all the ladies
learned the game of 1/15. There are a lot of rules to that game that
they were not familiar with, but they were great sports and dove right
in. Some liked the game; however others didn't. We played 1/15 for
two weeks and then went back to regular 8-ball on Feb. 27. Also in
February, two new members joined the group: welcome to Rachel
Voss and Jodi Wilson! In March we'll learn the game of 9 ball, so the
ladies can increase their billiard repertoire.
If any of you Four Seasons ladies are interested in joining a great
group of really fun ladies, please come by the Billiards Room in the
Lodge any Monday at 1 pm and either watch the play or arrange for
lessons, or a discuss a brush-up on the rules of play. Hope to see you
