6 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | April 2017 | A Note From Your Activities Director By Louise Ceccarelli Happy spring! The weather is beautiful, though a little warm for this time of year. But with the backdrop of wild flowers on the hillsides, and snow on the tops, it is breathtaking. Now is a perfect time to be out there with your camera or cell phone taking pictures for our news magazine cover. Just remember to set your cell phone to high resolution, with the anti-shake setting on to get the best pictures possible. Also, if you have a low-light setting on your camera, use it. It takes better pictures than flash, especially if you are outside where the flash doesn't work as well. Send your pictures to me with a short caption. Remember, it doesn't have to be inside the Four Seasons gates, but should be of our surrounding community. We have many things to do in Four Seasons — no one should be bored or tired of the same ol' same ol'. Here is a list of what is coming up for the next few months: • April 16 – Easter Eggstravaganza: bring the grandkids down on Easter Sunday for the Egg hunt, Easter Bunny pictures and a petting zoo. $10 per child 0-12 years of age. • April 18 – Music on the Plaza with the Greg Douglass Band playing all your favorite Rock 'n Roll songs. Just $5 each • May 6 – Kentucky Derby Party: come watch the Kentucky Derby Race, eat some great Southern specialties, and have some fun (see page 10 for more information). • May – Bus excursion to see the hilarious show "Menopause the Musical." • May 16 – Music on the Plaza with Nitro Express playing your favorite country music. Get your boots and hat and come on down. Keep your eye on this page in the future for more of what is coming.
