Well I've had thousands of calls asking me if I would please keep it going, well, maybe not thousands, but, hundreds of calls anyway, and, okay, okay, I got a couple of calls, and as it turns out I was reminded by Russ Brown, that I was the president of "The Karaoke Club" and the only way to resign is, I need to be impeached, and after impeachment I have to move my house outside of the back gate. I had no idea of the severe ramifications of stepping down, but Russ referred me to paragraph VXXXXXXVVXXV1 in the "Shape Up or Ship Out" section of the by-laws, so instead of moving my house, I should follow the lead of our new president and, "Make Karaoke Great Again." And, as a matter of fact, one of the reasons in the suspension is I have been working furiously, night and day, on the new Bill Ashdown Super Sonic Karaoke Rotation-O-Matic, which was too long of a name for the patent office, so it is simply called the KR2000, as it is in for patent as I write this. This new and innovative device should completely revolutionize karaoke as we know it. In the test trials I discovered a minor glitch however, which I need to adjust. Last week we invited some of our neighbors over to help test the KR2000, and it seems to have had the first singer, which was me, sing the first eight songs, and then it skipped to the fifth person, who was my wife, for one song, and then jumped back to me, for another 10 songs. So somewhere about the fourth song my neighbors started leaving and when I finished the tenth song, I was the only one there, even my wife had gone to bed. So, needless to say it needs a little tweaking. The problem is, none of my neighbors will open their door when I ring their doorbell to invite them back for another test trial, dang peep holes. So I'm thinking that the only way to test the new KR2000, is to start up karaoke again, once I get the glitches eliminated. I am sure the rotation-o-matic will completely resolve any and all rotation issues. The minor glitches and patent should be resolved soon, so keep checking future issues of the Herald for updates for a dramatic and highly anticipated unveiling of the new and magnificent "Bill Ashdown Super-Sonic Karaoke Rotation-O-Matic Machine". COMING SOON to a Ballroom near you! See ya soon and watch for more information. ~ Bill Iceland Aurora Borealis Cruising Along Passau Germany
