| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | April 2017 | 35 Tennis Friends Come join us on the courts! We are all about fun. All levels are welcome, or you can brush up on Wednesday nights at Chuck's classes. Our phone numbers are in the Directory for any questions. Just call Chuck Sims, Tracy Trousset or Trish Egan. Furthermore, if you want information, several of our members are familiar with tennis around the SoCal area. We cover many areas of health concerns, only one of which is weight loss. Our main focus is support. We like the first line of the next paragraph. It works MAGIC! A positive attitude is important for successful weight management. Whether you need to lose, gain, or maintain your weight, you need to make a commitment to gradually adopt a healthier "weigh" of life. You can look at nutrition as a health investment for a long and healthy lifestyle. Whether you are 20, 40, or 55, start now to invest in your own good health. The sooner you start, the healthier you will be in the long run. You can lose weight! The best way is to eat less; choose foods low in total fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol; and exercise regularly. High fat intake contributes to excess body weight. Being overweight might increase your risk of developing high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and certain forms of cancer. Losing weight is a big plus in your overall health. We encourage team members to keep that in their goal to a healthy lifestyle. If you have any questions about our program, please call Dave and Karen Tuvim, 599-4236. HEALTHY LIVING "Walk-Fit" Exercise Club It is a great time to start an exercise program that will have you ready for warm weather activities. We tend to be less active in the cooler months and need to rebuild our strength, stamina and flexibility. The seven Leslie Sansone DVDs used in the "Walk Fit" Exercise class are designed to do that and more. The routines are easy to follow and no memorizing is required. The "Walk Fit" Exercise Club offers you 180 minutes a week of low impact aerobic activity. You can tailor the class to your own needs and schedule. The full one hour class (three times a week) is a four mile walk, but you can join us for as much as will work for you. You can leave early or arrive later to shorten your walk. If you can only be there one or two days a week, that's okay too. New members — both men and women — are welcome. We meet Mon., Wed. and Fri. from 7:45 to 8:45 am in the Lodge Ballroom (for the full hour). We are free. For more information contact Karen Tuvim (951) 599-4236 or Kay Masonbrink (951) 223-3047.
