The second half leaders are team 7 "No Luck At All" with Linda Costell, Al Kaminsky, Lisa Park, and Dick Taylor. They must wait for a makeup game by team 1, "In The Hunt" to see if their lead holds up. Team 10, "We Can Do It" with Sue Shubert, Joan Allen, Bob Hall and John Shubert is in close pursuit only one-half game behind in the standings. They bowled against the third place team, "The Optimists" Caroline Gagnon, Bob McEwen, Jerry Campbell and Leo Gagnon, and were outscored three games to one. It is going to be a race to the finish for the second half winner who will roll off against the first half winners, team 9, "Have A Blessed Day." Sun Lakers III The last time I bowled, I walked into Canyon Lanes and I yelled out to another bowler to go in and win all four games, only to find out once I got in there we were bowling him. He kindly said I could take my earlier comment back, and he'd give me a chance. His team is still in first place at the time of this writing, The Green Mac, Lawanda Roberson, Mel Green, Jim McGowan, Maureen Farra. But also proof that the handicap system works, we won the first game by a whopping five pins, but that was it! Scratch Series for men has Jim McGowan at 622 and for women Maureen Farra with 574.
