How many times has one of your
teammates failed to show up on time at the
courts and you wished you had his/her phone
number? Wish no more! The telephone numbers for everyone
playing the current Tournament are on the back side of the bulletin
board, along with the alternates, referees and Board members! And if
you don't have a cellphone, trust me, someone
next to you does! By the way, if you're having
trouble reading the schedule, you're not alone!
Others would be happy to help you — just ask!
There is a bocce schedule for the YEAR on
the back side of our cabinet. It will help you
plan ahead if you have possible conflicts. The
Spring Tournament ends the week of May 22,
with playoffs Tues., May 30 and Wed., May 31.
The Summer Tournament begins the week of
June 12, entries in by June 2. Playing times shift to 5, 6, 7 and 8 pm,
Hopefully catch some cooler temps! Come out and join us!
Friends of Bocce
Do you enjoy playing the billiard game of 8 Ball? If you do, come join us. All residents are welcome to practice with us Mondays through
Saturdays. We normally 'pea' for partners at noon, then play to 2 pm or so.
There is no cost to join our group. However, if you elect to join a team, there is a $15 competition fee per three month season. Eight teams
compete every Thursday; four at 9 am and the other four at 1 pm in our Main Clubhouse Billiards Room. For a fun afternoon of fierce-but-
